Among a slew of Nike and Jordan Brand drops centered around the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, the return of the Air Jordan 6 “Olympic” stands out as the most prized of them all. What’s more is that the 2024 retro aligns perfectly with the OG that dropped for the Sydney Olympic Games back in 2000, whereas the shoe’s 2012 makeup featured slight changes, mostly towards the forefoot portion of the midsole.

A first look at the 2024 version reveals layers of white and blue from the top down in that area, while the 2012 pair swapped those colors to produce a slightly darker look underfoot. That might be an inconsequential change for casual sneakerheads, but Jordan purists are most definitely glad to see the shoe abide by its original look.
